Great Pointed Archers

Below the stop-&-go goosesteps
of an army of taxi cabs,
there live a family of four,
an artist,
a restaurant owner,
a teacher,
a bicycle messenger,
a policeman
and more.

By the subways the rents are higher.
The cake-eaters summer in Long Island.
For the rest there are the parks,
the trashcans,
the alleys,
the gutters of Sheridan,
and the abandon car on St. Marks.
