Moon Night

Is the moon as full for you tonight?
From out your window, into your room
I die to kiss you underneath this moon.
Do the stars above your head shine as bright?
Is the moon as full for you tonight?

What you said today to me,
Filled me up with jealousy
Hard to remove you from my sight
Is the moon as full for you tonight?

Tell me more, about this guy,
Tell me how he’s better than I,
I’ll push you, pull you, with all my might
Is the moon as full for you tonight?

Claustrophobic, I’m tucked inside,
I find myself, with much to hide,
How could you have been so right?
Is the moon as full for you tonight?

The Man

Man! Man! I am. You are.
Have we progressed too far?
With our hands towers rise,
Block the sun from our eyes.

Treading jungles plains, all land
Killing life: tiger, lamb
Is this hate? Are you mean?
Are your eyes no longer keen?

Man’s heart beats as well?
Like nature and life does dwell.
Once, man part of whole
Now, man alone, broken, sole.

Let us go back to her,
From her, who gave our primary birth,
We take, but now have a chance
To give back, no wont’s, no cant’s

Man! Man! I am. You are.
Have we progressed too far?
With our hands towers rise,
And block the sun from our eyes.
