Psalm

I can wander, walk and ponder of all the people I've done wrong.
But, above all else,
life goes on.

Grass will cling to my toes in spring when I stay up till dawn.
But, above all else,
life goes on.

The wind will always blow and carry the snow to places I’ve never gone.
But, above all else,
life goes on.

Lips moisten when making a voice as soft as a yawn.
But, above all else,
life goes on.

Sitting in still water, I think of grandfather and how life is so long.
But, above all else,
life goes on.

When the lake gets mean and the volcanoes steam, sing my song.
But, above all else,
life goes on.
